Jamie Joseph Limited Time Preview Event

Wednesday, June 29, 2016 2:11:45 PM America/New_York

We’re excited to introduce one of our newest collections from the one and only Jamie Joseph!

"Jamie Joseph’s jewelry has always been about the stones. Working together, Jamie and her husband, Jeremy convey their artistic vision by focusing on bringing light, shape, and an organic framework to some of the most beautiful stones in the world. Giving equal focus to qualities of movement, asymmetry, texture and luminosity, stones are transformed into wearable treasures with gold, silver, platinum and diamonds. Jamie has an artisan's aesthetic and her collections are renowned for meticulous craftsmanship, signature stone cutting techniques, and an abundance of color. ”

This month and next month all five Dandelion locations will have the opportunity to host a Jamie Joseph limited time preview event. A large collection of Jamie Joseph jewelry will be traveling from store to store so you’ll have the opportunity to shop these wearable treasures!

Dandelion and Furry Friends!

Wednesday, June 15, 2016 3:46:58 PM America/New_York

The ARL of Berk’s County has been successfully caring for abandoned and abused animals since 1952. They not only provide shelter and care for the unwanted animals of the Greater Reading area, but they also provide a humane life for over 10,000 animals annually.

From June 24-June 25 Dandelion in Wyomissing will be hosting an in store event to help support the Animal Rescue League of Berks County. 10% of sales from the weekend will support the ARL in Berks County. This weekend Sarah, Ariana, and I paid a visit to the ARL to meet with the staff and get up close and personal with some furry friends.

*Left: Ashley with Nala. Nala is no longer available for adoption. Right: Sarah and Ariana with Cher. Cher is still available for adoption.

During our visit to the facilities we experienced the day to day routine of the staff, volunteers, and animals. We were able to explore the grounds where volunteers take the animals (mostly dogs) out for their daily exercise.

*Sarah and Ariana with Mikey. Mikey is still available for adoption.

We even took a tour of the inside visiting small critters, big dogs, little dogs, and of course cats!  I think the cat colonies were Sarah and Ariana's idea of paradise.

Okay...maybe it was my idea of paradise too, but how couldn't you enjoy a room full of snuggly cats!?

Our experience at the Animal Rescue League left us with a better understanding of all the positivity they provide for animals and the community. Because they house such a large number of animals, they have limited supplies. They need our help, so If you can't adopt, you can donate! The ARL is looking for peanut butter, dog treats, dog beds, towels, and anything else to benefit the animals.

Join us at our Wyomissing location from June 24-June 25 for our in store event to help support this incredible organization! See you there.

Mother's Day

Thursday, April 28, 2016 3:02:56 PM America/New_York

There are no real words that can truly express the love we have for the Moms and Motherly figures in our lives. So when Mother's day rolls around we can't wait to pick out something special to show her how much we care.

This year we are giving YOU the perfect Mother's Day gift guide for HER

1. For the Mom on the move

She’s always running from place to place and could use a little pop of color to coordinate with her favorite “on-the-go” attire. These are the gifts for the busy bee!

2. The Mom who is full of color

She’s creative, vibrant, and always a spark of sunshine in your life. She needs something bright to reflect her colorful personality. Jewelry as unique as Ayala Bar, Wanna Buy a Watch, or an antique button ring would certainly do the trick!

3. The Mom who prefers a classic look

Her elegance and class never cease to amaze you.  If it were possible she’d probably be besties with Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.  She’s always outstanding and nothing says outstanding like some pearls and crystals.

4. The Mom who goes bold

She isn’t afraid to go a little bolder and sparkle her way through life. She likes to stand out and you appreciate it. She shines bright and her jewelry needs to keep up with her vivacious spirit! Try something colorful like Liztech or Sorrelli.

5. The Mom who likes to keep it simple

She loves jewelry, but prefers something simple and sentimental. Don't worry, we've got you covered! Collections like B.U. and Kathy Bransfield express all the things you're looking to say.

uno de 50

Tuesday, April 26, 2016 5:14:38 PM America/New_York

This weekend we are beyond happy to host our first ever Uno De 50 Trunk Show.

Friday April 29th - Saturday April 30th

Trunk Show in: Princeton, Saucon Valley, and Wyomisisng

Special Launch Party in: Ardmore

Uno de 50 originally began it’s journey based on the idea that they would only make 50 units of each design so that whoever had one piece would have one of the existing 50. Thus the name Uno De 50 was born. This concept caught on quickly due to the original designs of its collections and loyal collectors. Over time, the company decided to expand its horizons so that more than 50 people could indulge in the unique and edgy designs that make up Uno De 50.

Stop by our Trunk Show for typical Dandelion fun while shopping an extended collection of Uno De 50's spring line. There will be refreshments, raffles, and free gifts (courtesy of Uno De 50) just for showing up! We hope to see you this weekend!

Dandelion in the Big Apple

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 5:12:03 PM America/New_York

The transition from winter to spring always brings plenty of excitment. Not just because of the change in weather (thank goodness for sunshine headed our way), but because a change in seasons means new jewelry collections are on the scene. This week we traveled to New York City to pick out some special treats for the months ahead.

We started at the Javits Center for Coterie. We made it through all the accessories, but not without a few stops to pick up the latest and greatest from everyone's favorites, Chan Luu and Zoe Chicco.

After a lunch break we made our way across town to Pier 94 where we attended Capsule. This was our first time attending this show and what a pleasure it turned out to be. We weaved in and out of aisles of jewelry with bright eyes and excitment! There were so many artists with beautiful designs and innovative techniques. It was definitely the best place we could have gone to explore up and coming lines and discover future collections to carry in the store.

What a day it turned out to be! It's never anything less than wonderful when you're wandering around New York City.
