Polly Wales Trunk Show
Friday, November 1st - Saturday, November 2nd
Polly Wales studied Fine Art Sculpture before following her passion for jewelry and retraining at the Royal College of Art. Combining her skills as a sculptor, her love of traditional casting methods and her craftsmanship, she began to create one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. Using sapphires, rubies, and diamonds cast directly into rich gold, the end masterpieces resemble natural gem encrusted forms or sparkling geodes split open. This unorthodox approach to jewelry design has created a new and exciting niche in the world of fine jewelry design.
Her jewelry marries classic design with vibrant, playful colors and imperfect, organic forms. They are known for their signature “cast-not-set” process and rough luxe aesthetic. Each piece is handcrafted using responsibly sourced materials and recycled gold in Downtown Los Angeles.
Every piece we make is handcrafted and designed to last a lifetime.
Adel Chefridi Trunk Show
Saturday, November 9th
Born in Tunisia and now settled in Woodstock, New York, Adel Chefridi creates jewels that cross cultures and time. He often draws on ancient and intricate motifs found in the art and architecture of his native land. Yet he instills a contemporary aesthetic rooted in an understated subtlety and an affinity for light and movement. His gemstones are particularly exquisite, a reflection of his studies in gemology. They bring color and sparkle to designs of stunning beauty that are wearable every day.
“An interest I had during my youth was searching for antique coins. Growing up in the Mediterranean city of Tunis, I found a medley of these including Punic, Roman, Byzantine, Vandal, Jewish, Islamic, French…so began my fascination with collections.” - Adel Chefridi
Join us Saturday, November 9th for our Adel Chefridi Trunk Show! A representative is attending with the collection. Mark your calendars and be sure to attend and find the perfect piece for you- and in time for holiday gift shopping!
Ayala Bar Trunk Show
Friday, November 29th - Sunday, December 1st
Ayala Bar was born in Israel and is where she currently resides. Since graduating from art school, she has worked in many artistic areas from theater to interior design. In the late 1980s, she surfaced as a prominent Israeli jeweler. Her current designs blend natural elements and glass with assorted metals to create a rich mosaic, resulting in intricate limited-edition pieces. Ayala Bar has consistently produced designs that are innovative yet timeless, bold yet feminine and international in appeal. Ayala Bar jewelry is handcrafted and has the artist's name on the back.
“Ever since I can remember I have loved drawing, sculpture, embroidery or sewing. I studied art in a professional capacity but people are sometimes surprised to learn that this did not include jewelry making or silversmithing. “Matchmaking” materials are what I love to do: testing contrasts, colors and textures and how they interact together. Combining beads and soft tassels with jagged surfaces; matte textures with shiny metals. For me, the possibilities are boundless and anything can trigger creative impulse.” –Ayala Bar

Zoe Chicco Pick Box
Saturday, December 7th - Sunday, December 8th
Zoë Chicco’s gift is an ability to create personal, classic pieces that are at the same time versatile. Delicate and modern, sexy but elegant, her everyday pieces are significant enough to be worn alone but delicate enough to wear layered together. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Chicco discovered her knack for jewelry design at an early age. By the time she attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, she had committed to a major in metalsmithing and a lifelong pursuit of adornment design.
Under her direction and training, Zoë Chicco jewelry is produced in house by a dedicated staff of artisans. Chicco’s meticulous eye for detail and quality insures every piece that leaves her Los Angeles studio has been carefully screened and lovingly hand-made.
Since its launch in 2000, her eponymous collection—which marries 14k gold with diamonds and semi-precious gemstones such as opal and turquoise—has created a cult following among celebrities and trendsetters alike. Chicco currently resides and works in Los Angeles with her husband, Tim, their son Truman, and their dog, Rocco.
