About us

Our Philosophy

Dandelion is a boutique jewelry store with an affinity for hand-crafted accessories sourced honestly from around the globe. We strive to stay on the cutting edge of fashion, providing visibility for new artists and accessibility for our customers to stay ahead of the trends. Unwilling to sacrifice ethics and quality, we travel the globe in search of new pieces, empowering artists and supporting communities along the way. As a family-owned and female-fronted business, we build relationships with every person who enters our shop. This devotion to our customer has fostered an environment that we can be proud of—one that inspires your family to continue visiting ours.

Our Shop

Our shops carry a range of designers, including Chan Luu, Alexis Bittar, Alex & Ani, Anne Sportun, Kathy Bransfield, Sherry Tinsman, Todd Reed, Rebecca McNerney, Anna Beck, Coeur de Lion, and Michael Michaud’s Silver Seasons, all of whom share our dedication to ethically-responsible working conditions and ethically-sourced materials. Our warm and knowledgeable staff is here to help you find the perfect gift, whether you seek a small token of appreciation or that special piece to celebrate one of life’s bigger moments.

Our Roots

Our story begins in 1966, when Beth Fluke opened a fresh-cut flower shop in Kennebunkport, Maine. She called it The Dandelion. Never one to settle, Beth quickly outgrew the sleepy town and made the move to Philadelphia, where she shifted her focus from flowers to handmade jewelry.

A true family business, Beth’s daughters Leslie and Lellie grew up in the shop. Memories were built within its walls and meetings were always planned around naptime. After exploring other passions, Leslie and Lellie decided to follow in their mother’s footsteps and run Dandelion together.

Today, our flagship store can be found in Ardmore, PA, with three more locations throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. And while growth often forces change, Dandelion’s mission remains evergreen—to support artists, foster community, and ensure a hand-picked experience for each and every customer.
