Exchange Policy

What is your return/exchange policy?

In-store: We accept exchanges for regular-priced merchandise within 14 days of purchase. Exchanges may be made for other merchandise or store credit. Dandelion gives no cash or credit card refunds for items purchased in store. 

All SALE (discounted) items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. 

Online only: We accept exchanges for regular-priced merchandise within 14 days of delivery. Exchanges may be made for other merchandise or store credit.  Additionally, items purchased online may be eligible for a refund (minus shipping fee). To be approved for a refund, you must contact us at sales@dandelionjewelry.com within 24 hours of delivery. Your return must be shipped back to us, in unworn, pristine condition and in the original packaging, using the provided shipping label within 48 hours of approval. Items purchased online cannot be returned for a refund in any of our store locations. This policy only applies to online purchases returned via shipping.

Why do you offer a refund option online but not at your stores?

We acknowledge and understand that purchasing jewelry online versus in person can be uniquely challenging, without the opportunity to see, feel, and try on items. We always strive to represent our jewelry accurately in photographs and descriptions, but there's nothing like the real thing! Therefore, for those who cannot visit us in person, we offer a refund option in case the purchase does not meet expectations. If you make a purchase of regular-priced merchandise online that does not meet your expectations, and would like to return for a refund, you must notify us via email (sales@dandelionjewelry.com) within 24 hours of your package being delivered. After receiving confirmation and our return shipping label, the item(s) must be shipped back to us within 48 hours. Once we receive the item(s), and confirm they are returned in unworn, pristine condition (safely packaged, with gift receipt/packing slip), we will issue a refund minus a return shipping flat fee of $7.50.

How do I begin the exchange process if I want to send something back by shipping?

1) Make sure all merchandise being sent back for exchange has a gift receipt and/or packing slip; we will not be able to accept any items for return without this.

2) Contact sales@dandelionjewelry.com for an exchange confirmation within 14 days after receiving your order. In your email, include as many details as possible, such as your contact information, order number, and SKU of the item(s) you would like to return. If you would like to exchange for other merchandise, please include the SKU of the item you are interested in.

3) Once you receive confirmation and our return shipping label, you can ship the item back to us. Please ship your item within 3 business days of receiving confirmation and a shipping label. If you have not shipped within 3 business days and have not contacted us, your shipping label will be voided.

4) Return shipping and handling fees are not refundable. A fee of $7 will be deducted from your credit. 

5) If you have sent the item back within 14 days, it is in unworn, pristine condition, in the original packaging and has a gift receipt and/or packing slip, then you may exchange your item. We will contact you by email with your store credit code or to finalize your exchange for other merchandise.

Can I exchange something I purchased online at one of your store locations?

Yes!

1) Make sure all merchandise brought in for exchange has its gift receipt and/or packing slip; we will not be able to accept any items for exchange without this receipt.

2) If items are brought in within 14 days, are in unworn, pristine condition, in the original packaging and have a gift receipt then you may exchange for an item or receive a store credit. 

Can I return something I purchased online and receive a refund at one of your store locations?

No. Our online return and refund policy only applies to online purchases returned via shipping. We cannot issue a refund at any of our store locations. To request a refund for an item purchased online, you must contact us at sales@dandelionjewelry.com within 24 hours of delivery.

I purchased something in store. Can I return it  via the website and receive a refund?

No, our online shop refund policy only applies to items purchased online. This policy is to accommodate customers who make a purchase without being able to see the item in person. All in-store purchases are eligible for exchange or store credit only.

What if I receive an item that is damaged? 

Contact us at sales@dandelionjewelry.com as soon as possible so we can assist you. Please include a photo of the box and the item. Any damage or defect claims must be made within 2 days of delivery. If you receive damaged merchandise, we will send you a pre-paid return label to ship it back to us. Upon receipt and inspection, we will send your replacement item at no additional shipping charge. If the item cannot be replaced, you may choose to have the item repaired, receive a store credit, or receive a refund.
