“Boxwood is an attractive evergreen that can reach heights of thirty or more feet. The slow-growing dwarf variety is close clipped (a custom that began in Roman times) to make decorative edgings. Our original model was made from cuttings taken at George Washington’s Mount Vernon. A portion of the sales of this design goes to the support of George Washington’s Mount Vernon.”
