In the Jewelry Box: Rimma
Sara from Princeton
People often say that the best things come in small packages. In my opinion gifts in little green Dandelion boxes are even better! I have always loved small, delicate, gold jewelry, and it wasn't until I began working at Dandelion in Princeton that I discovered several artists whose jewelry I truly admired.
Rimma Jewelry is a local designer, based in New Jersey. Rimma designs pieces in 14 carat yellow and white gold and uses semi-precious and precious stones. My first gifts from Dandelion were pieces by Rimma. Since then I have continued to grow my collection and always look forward to future collections.
There is something so special about having pieces in your jewelry collection that you wear every single day. Being an April baby, I have always been drawn to jewelry with white topaz or moonstone. Rimma designs simple pendents, bracelets, and earrings that focus on the beauty of the stones. After receiving a simple white topaz pendent necklace for my birthday, I decided to gift myself the matching white topaz bracelet. A year went by and my birthday was quickly approaching once again. As the warm weather hit I began craving some color. My eyes were instantly drawn to a turquoise pendent from Rimma, and I was lucky enough to receive it for my birthday. Delicate pieces are the ones I wear the most and never take off. They are more than just gifts, they become the little specks of joy and beauty in my life that I will cherish forever.
