Artists of the Santo Domingo Pueblo are known for their talent in making these stone overlays and mosaic designs on clam shells, which is an ancient art form of their tribe. This piece features earthy green turquoise and a sterling silver spiral design referred to as the "path of life." The pendant is hung on a strand of handcrafted 4 mm Navajo "Pearls," which are actually round sterling silver beads.
