A part time resident of the Grand Bahama’s Michael found himself in the immediate after math of the 2016 storms that devastated the Islands. Having found so much inspiration over the years from the native forests, he was heartbroken to see the once lush landscape stripped bare. As he joined in on the relief effort for the island he began to notice one tree that seemed to have survived the storm. The Lignum Vitae tree has the densest wood in the world which earned it the name Wood of Life.
