What is your return/exchange policy?
We have different return/exchange policies for our online store and our physical store locations.
Please make sure you are viewing the correct policy below (Online Orders or In-Store Purchases).
Online Orders:
Return for store credit:
- We accept exchanges and offer store credit in the form of a gift card (minus $7 shipping fee) for regular-priced merchandise within 14 days of delivery. Submit a return request HERE to begin the process.
- The item must be in unworn, new condition.
- If approved, we will email you a return shipping label. Your return must be shipped back to us with 5 business days.
- If these conditions are met, we will email you a store gift card, which does not expire.
- If you received an item as a gift that you would like to exchange, please click HERE.
Return for refund to original payment method (online purchases only):
- To be approved for a refund, you must submit a return request HERE within 24 hours of delivery.
- Your return must be shipped back to us within 48 hours of approval, in unworn, pristine condition and in the original packaging, using the provided shipping label.
- If your return is not shipped within 48 hours of receiving your shipping label, it will only be eligible for store credit according to the terms above.
- After your return is received and meets the requirements above, will will issue a refund to your original payment method, minus $7 shipping fee. Please allow 1-2 business days for return to be processed and refunded.
Items purchased online cannot be returned for a refund in any of our store locations. This policy only applies to online purchases returned via shipping.
All SALE (discounted) items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Return shipping instructions:
- Give the package to the carrier identified on the label.
- If you have notified us within 24 hours of receiving items and expect a refund, items must be shipped within 48 hours of approval. If your return for a refund is not shipped within 48 hours of receiving your shipping label, no refund will be issued, and we will email you a store credit in the form of a gift card.
- If the return is for exchange or store credit, you must ship the return within five business days. After the 5 business days, your shipping label may be voided, and your item may no longer be eligible for return.
In-store Purchases:
- We accept exchanges and offer store credit for regular-priced merchandise within 14 days of purchase. Exchanges may be made for other merchandise or store credit.
- The item must be in unworn, new condition.
- Dandelion gives no cash or credit card refunds for items purchased in store.
- Store credit does not expire.
All SALE (discounted) items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Why do you offer a refund option online but not at your stores?
We acknowledge and understand that purchasing jewelry online versus in person can be uniquely challenging, without the opportunity to see, feel, and try on items. We always strive to represent our jewelry accurately in photographs and descriptions, but there's nothing like the real thing! Therefore, for those who cannot visit us in person, we offer a refund option in case the purchase does not meet expectations.
How do I begin the exchange process if I want to send something back by shipping?
1) Make sure all merchandise being sent back for exchange has a gift receipt and/or packing slip; we will not be able to accept any items for return without this.
2) Submit a return request for store credit within 14 days after receiving your order. If you are requesting a refund to your original payment method, you must submit the request within 24 hours of delivery.
3) Once you receive confirmation and our return shipping label, you can ship the item back to us. Please ship your item within 5 business days (or 48 hours if requesting a refund to original payment method) of receiving confirmation and a shipping label. If you have not shipped within 5 business days and have not contacted us, your shipping label may be voided.
4) Return shipping and handling fees are not refundable. A fee of $7 will be deducted from your credit.
5) If you have sent the item back within the required time frame, it is in unworn, pristine condition, in the original packaging and has a gift receipt and/or packing slip, then we will contact you with approval of your return. Your refund or gift card code will be issued to you.
Can I exchange something I purchased online at one of your store locations?
Yes!
1) Make sure all merchandise brought in for exchange has its gift receipt and/or packing slip; we will not be able to accept any items for exchange without this receipt.
2) If items are brought in within 14 days, are in unworn, pristine condition, in the original packaging and have a gift receipt then you may exchange for an item or receive a store credit.
Can I return something I purchased online and receive a refund at one of your store locations?
No. Our online return and refund policy only applies to online purchases returned via shipping. We cannot issue a refund at any of our store locations. To request a refund for an item purchased online, you must submit a return request within 24 hours of delivery (see details above).
I purchased something in store. Can I return it via the website and receive a refund?
No, our online shop refund policy only applies to items purchased online. This policy is to accommodate customers who make a purchase without being able to see the item in person. All in-store purchases are eligible for exchange or store credit only.
What if I receive an item that is damaged?
Please immediately submit a claim by clicking HERE. Any damage or defect claims must be made within 2 days of delivery. Please include a photo of the box and the item. If the item cannot be replaced, you may choose to have the item repaired, receive a store credit, or receive a refund.
